Walid Jumblat: "Naming Hariri will lead to catastrophic results" PDF

The Lebanese crisis is still open.  The Lebanese politicians showed their incapacity to come up with an internal resolution.  They left the fate of the Lebanese with the foreign powers. When will we learn that the Saudi, Syrians, Turkish, Qataris, France, United States and all the other powers are only concerned with their own interest.Maybe it's time for the people to reconsider following blindly their useless and corrupt leaders.

The political parties are focusing on creating more religious tension and deeper national divide. Saying that Hariri is the only fit to premiership because he has a wider Sunni support is a breach in the Lebanese constitution. The Lebanese politicians should start representing Lebanon rather than using their religious sects.

Saad Hariri:
"I will carry on with my candidacy for the premiership."

Michel Aoun:
"Saad Hariri return is impossible, he can't be forced on us.", "Do Western democracies reconduct accused and suspected candidate as PM?", "What we want is a clean people and clean government that respect the law and we want to be strong and independent."

Al-Jadeed:
Caretaker Public Works and Transport Minister Aridi visited Damascus to inform the Syrian leadership of the latest stance taken by MP Jumblat regarding his support for whatever the Opposition decides.
